    For real though, why was his license suspended in the first place? Like, I feel way differently about this story if the defendant is a repeat drunk driver vs someone who just didn’t pay to register their car or whatever.

      There’s also the non-zero chance he wasn’t informed his license was suspended. Not sure about Michigan laws on that though.

        He didn’t say anything when he was caught, he knew it was suspended.

      It doesn’t matter why, it’s suspended and he shouldn’t have been driving regardless of “was it right or wrong”. He dug himself deeper in the hole

        Not just this be he is answering a zoom video call while driving…which makes me think his license is suspended for good reason lol
