  • Find something used. If you have Facebook, see the market place. I don’t have Facebook, my wife does, and I always find great deals on it. Bought me a Dell 27" 4 monitor for $80. That thing is used $275 used on Amazon. If no Facebook, then try eBay. Used is not that bad most of the time.

  • Good for you and thank you for sharing. My dad always told me “I’d rather die walking”. Dude is right. He’s in his mid 70s and is still pulling like he’s 20 years younger. I want to be that guy. Not guaranteed of course, but it’s my goal.

43 here. Still feel strong thanks to the gym. I’ve been lifting since I was 17. Longest I’ve ever stopped was about 2 years. I still lift heavy and don’t have any of that “older folks” back pain, and “it’s really hard to get up in the morning” and all that. I’m thankful for that. It’s never too late (if you don’t have a condition that prevents you) to become a gym goer.

  • Thank you so much. I can’t say that my life was cool per se, as I lived it as a shephard/farmer. It was extremely rough. You could say it is cool when you look back it at now, but not then. We didn’t have power back then, so my only entertainment was my craft and reading books. I’d go for hours, after a full day of work in the farm and taking care of our cattle(sheep mostly), writing and practicing or reading. I can’t even count the number of books I have read (all non-fiction, BTW). Also, thank you for the word “obituary”. I’ve learned a new word today and I always appreciate that :)

  • I’m actually an Arabic calligraphist myself. Been doing it since I was about 7 years old. I’m now 43 and I still practice. It’s become like an addiction to me. I even had a shop at some point of my life where I made shops signs and other things like those announcements they made when someone passes away (sorry don’t know what they’re called in English). I even made some decent money, too. I still have my read pieces and inks now here in the US.
