Nope. It’s a software KVM called Synergy.
Luckily for you, protonvpn is in flathub https://flathub.org/apps/com.protonvpn.www
Yeah, the flatpak doesn’t work right and isn’t officially supported by Proton, which is part of the reason I left KDE Plasma for Workstation, which is GNOME, but it’s officially supported there.
