It should be just “Luton airport”. Honestly, I think it’s deceptive calling any airport you can’t get to on an Oyster card “London something”.
London Oxford and London Ashford (which is in Lydd, and a £50 taxi ride to Ashford) being the most egregious examples. It’ll be London Birmingham next.
Admitedly as a rebrand it probably fails because it still has Luton in it (and I say that as somebody born there). We should’ve embraced the stereotype and named it Lorraine Chase airport when we had the chance.
