Los Angeles (the city, not the county) is 501.55 sq mi, 469.49 of which are land. So by total area, Rhode Island is 3.08 times the size of Los Angeles. Counting only land, Rhode Island is only 2.20 times the size of Los Angeles.
Non problem, soon it will be the size of more recognizable cities.
