been seeing this Irish guy on tik tok who’s already been finding liberty caps in August. I never knew the season could start so early there, but I guess it is so much more wet than England it’s not that surprising.
here I usually don’t find them until like mid october through to december
where do you usually find them?
wet fields after it has rained heavily, particularly ones sheep graze in but other livestock work well too. I just go rambling around during a saturday or something, get out of the city and have a look. you can find them in big parks that aren’t too well trodden if you go poking around in the grass but they are more rare
