At his speech to the Democratic National Convention last night, Bernie Sanders played the usual hits — and also called for a cease-fire in Gaza. But his righteous populist anger felt out of place before a party still dominated by corporate interests.
He’s done a lot of good but at this point he’s been very obedient. He’s passed the torch. That’s why it’s “Not me. Us.”

No politician does or ever will. Because we should always be pushing for a better future. Hold their feet to the fire. They should never be comfortable. They work for us.
It’s easy to never be happy about anything ever.
Life ain’t easy. There’s a lot of complacency and that’s why so much stuff has gone to shit. We need to never stop fighting for the people.
