        Honestly, I never really thought that being a Borg would be as horrific as the show tried to claim, especially with the way Seven described it.

          I guess it just depends on how much of “you” is still in there and aware. If your consciousness and will are fully suppressed, yeah, it probably wouldn’t seem all that bad.

          OTOH, the body horror of the assimilation process could go either way. The nanoprobes could suppress the pain, or they could just paralyze you. I just try not to think about that lol.

            I suppose it’s hard to know how much awareness there was in Seven compared to the general population since she was part of Unimatrix Zero.
