    LPT.

Whatever size bed you have, buy blankets one size bigger. King blankets for a Queen size bed, eg.

I would but you are burning up like a furnace and I’m sweating like a pig

Ahh, waking up at 3 AM in a puddle of your own sweat and being unable to fall back asleep cause you get to choose between the heat that made you sweat to begin with or the freezing cold wet.

          >choose to roll away from her so you’ll get some respite from the scorching heat

          >she rolls after you to spoon you

I guess it’s nice but I can’t face the flames every night

Look, as the apparent blanket hog in my relationship, if you can’t defend your blanket it will be taken by the stronger will. Same for side size. My wife sleep persona favours pillows and bed space, my sleep persona demands blanket. it works for us.

Under the matress. If I tuck it under me, it’s either because I neglect doing my bed or because I’m camping.

So same place you tuck your sheets? Strange, I’ve never heard people doing that. For clarification you do that while you sleep or when making the bed?

I tuck every tightly when I make the bed. At night, I loose things enough to get into it. This way the one who grab the whole blanket is the bed and in the morning we are longer tuck on the sides but still very much at the foot. So the blancket had no chance to escape on one side on the bed as it is stuck by our both weight and the matress. I don’t need to tighten it to the foot every day.

Huh. We just have two blankets so don’t need to fight over it. Tucking the blanket under the mattress seems a bit inconvenient for me.

Just do what the Germans do and have two mattresses with a crack in the middle.
