    Headline is misleading. They are expecting to see enrolment down 45%, and the article doesn’t really give much in terms of numbers other than that.

      The actual number is 45%, but the feds only projected 35%.

      The new policy limits the number of student visa applications the government would accept into processing, and it’s expected that will result in a 35 per cent drop in the number of students in 2024 compared to last year. Source

        They are expecting to see a 45% decline. Based on the wording, it looks to be projections rather than actual numbers?

      Exactly. The rules haven’t fully taken effect yet. Infact international student numbers are currently spiking by those wishing to beat the crackdown.
