      The whole premise is quite clear. From the reason for creation of woman, all the way through. To support gender equality is to deny one’s own religion—which will it be?

    There actually is a practical answer as to why multiple wives are ok and not multiple husbands in Islam, but it all reduces down to magic book engineering of society.

    Woman can only give birth every year.
    A single man on the other hand might impregnate women each and every week, from maturity till his heart stops beating.

    So woman held considerable power in any society and it would only be natural for men to seize the means of reproduction.

    I think that’s what happened, historically speaking.

      What does that have to do with anything? How does someone privately thinking poly relationships are a unwise idea have to do with the legalized chattle sex slaves of those countries?
