      Literally not firing the gun would have been the fiscally responsible decision.

      Wasted $30 in ammo and shot like 6 people to stop somebody from not paying less than $3.

        I know someone who’s motorbike got stolen in Atlanta and the cops tracked the lo jack, then initiated a high speed chase that included a helicopter and briefly shut down part of the atlanta airport. They found the bike dumped in a forest near the airport and it ended up totaled out. This was a new bike, but like, an 8k one. When the person asked the cops why they went through all of that for such a cheap bike, they straight-up said they like causing high speed chases and exercising authority.

        It’s not about the money, it’s about them getting to be cruel on your dime and you not having any recourse to stop them. They get off on that.

      The cop quickly had to sort their inventory of handguns, this gun is for threatening my ex-wife, this gun is to shoot service workers over my cold burger, ah yes the shoot a black kid in the back for jumping fare handgun.

      Can’t wait for Adams’ next primary opponent to run against him not because cops are shooting people over unpaid subway fares, but because the rounds of ammunition spent in the process were more expensive than the fare and so it’s not efficient fascism.
