Reading the comments there sure was a hell of a peek into the brains of these people. They genuinely say that everyone pro Palestine is a terrorist. I will admit that I haven’t bothered to look at comments on Reddit, but it’s pretty unsettling to read tbh.
If Israel and Hezbollah go to war - people will see suffering and death in Israel but also in Lebanon. Sadly the coverage of Israel will probably be at least ~5x as great. But there will be blood on the streets in Lebanon. I worry that some people will use the opportunity to start to use “they” and “them” when referring to anybody Lebanon. In other words “They shoot missiles into Israel so - yeah - some of them are going to die. That’s how war works. Don’t want to be attacked? Don’t attack.” The same ‘logic’ will be openly used for the genocide in Gaza. And this vile “They’re getting what they deserve” logic will start to go mainstream and even be used on networks like MSNBC that are usually careful to not be ghoulish by saying the quiet part out loud.
