So there are many clients out there but thunder is by far the best. I have tested liftoff, jerboa and thunder.

Not finding Thunder on F-Droid :-(
You have to add the izzydroid repo that @yoz was mentioning, then you can download it, I also have it installed, and it’s great, I will use it until sync gets released :)
Try Droidify. Similar to F-droid. It’s definitely in that one.
