Well this won’t be a controversial ending
I have a Miami bias, obviously. But I’ve now watched the play about 100 times. The ball was bobbling all over the place, touching players out of bounds, and is never controlled by a VT player. I have no clue how some ref called that a TD to begin with from wherever they were standing. But reversing it was the right call.
I genuinely don’t know what the correct call is here. I don’t really think it was a TD but I don’t know how you overturn the call on the field based on this video evidence
They apparently saw something, I think people are massively upset with the ruling either way. But wow, what an ending
Miami, if you’re gonna use orange and white checker-boarding, at least use the right orange
All the Heisman talk at the top of the broadcast jinxed Cam Ward on the first series. I agree with the call though, that was a fumble
Wow, I did not see VT being up in the 2nd half. Just playing really well. This looks nothing like the last time I saw them (struggling with Vandy)
Nor did I for a minute believe he was going to make the 58-yarder just before half. Kudos to the kicker. Kind of bails out the coaches for the bad play call on the preceding 3rd down

Love the fake FG attempt! Maybe would have loved it more if it was a successful 4th down conversion, but props to Miami’s defense for staying sharp
Seriously amazing play there, we’ll just ignore the massive hold
Sloppy win. But a win is a win I guess. I was confident the call at the end would go against Miami, as it usually does. I’ll take it I suppose.
Oh that’s a brutal pick
Impressive interception by the VT defender. Man, is everyone in this game going to use the same celebration when they have a big play? I can’t tell who’s making fun of whom
