God of War Ragnarok mod removes PSN requirement from PC version

Sony’s latest PC port of God of War Ragnarok requires a PSN account to play. The game is an entirely single-player game, which has frustrated some players. Nexusmod user iArtorias has released a mod that removes the requirement entirely. The mod has been downloaded thousands of times at the time of writing. 🖋️

Buying digital games means you’re just purchasing a license, California will force storefronts to admit

California will soon require storefronts to make clear that purchasing digital content, including games, does not mean you actually own it. Terms such as “buy” and “purchase” will be banned from the sale process unless sufficient caveats are added. New legislation, AB 2426, is designed to make consumers more aware of the sometimes-temporary nature of digital ownership. 🖋️

A tech error with the Official News feature on the PS5 console has since been resolved. There have been no changes to the way game news is displayed on PS5. 🖊️
