I’m one of the numerous Marvel/DC crossovers both Superman and Wonder Woman we’re able to lift Mjolnir.

I only have a vague memory of this because it was a single comment I read on TV Tropes a decade or more ago, but weren’t some or all of the requirements lifted to allow that? IIRC, Superman wouldn’t have met the requirements because of a “lack of a warrior’s spirit.” No idea regarding Wonder Woman.

The first time it happened, there was a thing about Odin making an exception for Kal-El, but that has since been retconned. I don’t recall Wonder Woman needing any exceptions, but she also didn’t use it in her flight with Storm, as it wouldn’t have been fair.

Did the DC writers pen that one? Storm is an omega level mutant. Wonder woman is part of the DC Trinity, but it’s hard to punch hurricanes that land on top of you.

Who won each battle was determined by fan voting prior to the publish date. This was also back in 1996 before Diana got written to be basically immune to the elements and Storm knocked her out with lightning.

Did Wolverine bribe Lobo to take a fall? I think I read that in the same trope binge.
