I might have rotated the oven 90 degrees counterclockwise and gotten rid of the island (peninsula , I guess) but I like having what would essentially be two prep stations working across from one another with one person right at the range top. This kitchen isn’t actually that big from a square footage perspective but it looks like 4 or 5 people could comfortably work there without touching elbows.
