Everybody’s lookin’ forward to the weekendShe was what, 12 when that came out? Imagine the years of shit she’s had to go through for it. And really it was her dad’s fault since she wasn’t the one paying for it.
She has a decent following these days and her last album plus videos seemed well received by fans.
Definitely feel bad about a 14 year old getting singles out by millions of people to make fun of her though.
I don’t know much about her recent music, but I respect that she stuck with things and it sounds like a decade of seriously working resulted in her turning out pretty good.
Well that’s cool at least. Nice to hear she overcame that and was able to be a success musically. As far as I understand, she really had nothing to do with any of it creatively. She had a song written for her and produced for her and because she had no formal training, she was told how to sing it. Then she was put in a music video where she was told how to respond. And it was greenscreen so she couldn’t even really get an idea of what was going on. So none of it was her fault really.
