If not, why?
Seems to have a negative connotation. I don’t think there are any drawbacks to my level of being online, and it’s nearly constant.
ok
I am honestly online almost every waking hour in one form or another, I don’t consider it chronic because it does not negatively effect my life.
Same
no, but i am, and why - because i don’t use the internet like others but I think I try to use it in a useful way?
Which way O_O
Yeah, interacting with the people in my local area is depressing. They’re mostly the bottom 20% for human intelligence, quite filthy too, and the smart ones are critically depressed and stay home themselves, so I’d rather just be online learning new things and discussing stuff that matters.
Do you know how many people spent an evening in their home to be found dead in a bar alley the next day, last year? Single digits I’d wager.
Also it is cheaper.
Yes it is sad
Yes. It’s not good.
It’s not debilitating - I have a family and friends, and lead a very active social life, but I think I deem things “downtime” more than others and pull up the phone too often. I also find that I could be doing things that were productive when work isn’t busy, but instead I am just posting or reading.
I guess I should keep closer track of my time as a potential solution.
I use a timed lock box for breaks it helps to take 20 minute breaks every hour
