Summary

Following Kamala Harris’s unexpected defeat, Democratic leaders are scrutinizing their party’s failures, particularly with working-class voters.

Figures like Bernie Sanders, Chris Murphy, and Ro Khanna argue the party lacks a strong economic message, especially for those frustrated with stagnant mobility and neoliberal policies.

Sanders emphasized Democrats’ disconnect from working-class concerns, while Murphy criticized the party’s unwillingness to challenge wealthy interests.

DNC Chair Jaime Harrison announced he won’t seek re-election, leaving the party’s leadership in flux as Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries prepare to assume top roles amid a Republican resurgence.

Dude, since 2008 it’s been the same message, and while GDP might’ve been up, all that went to the top with one or two crumbs falling for the rank and file.

If you receive a paycheck, we’ve been in a depression since 2008. quality of life is a slip and slide downward and politicians haven’t done shit to slow it, they just rubber stamp every merger and sit back allowing billions of billions to be hoarked out of the economy thru stock buybacks - which for most of our history, have been illegal - for good reason.

This is what started the whole fake news shit. Fuck the Dems. I hope Trump burns it all down. No one would design a government like this from scratch. No one.

I agree it’s awful, but I don’t think you realize just how staggeringly worse things will get under fascism. Trump is just the catalyst, and though stupid he’s willing to sell out our national security to Putin. He’s the wedge that will let far more sinister people take power.

Take a little time to read about Russian oligarchy and let me know how that compares to the western corporatocracy you’re upset about.

Oh Im aware it’s gonna get worse. A lot worse. But apparently we need a fever to shake this sickness.

And Trump sold out our intelligence network already, of course he’ll do it again.
