I’m liking it so far. I’m subbed to enough communities that I now have a pretty good content aggregation, though It’s love to see some of the smaller communities get active.

I’m getting kinda tired of the content on all. I get it, chrome sucks and programmers rule. Also the memes are all recycled from reddit.

What bumbs me out about this site is that I used to create and mod multiple communites on Vlemmy, but they vanished overnight. So for now I lurk until I see the content improve and stabilize

The lack of algorithmic sorting makes the whole platform feel like an actual commons because it doesn’t feel like I’m.constantly being manipulated to keep scrolling or buy something.

Some people have this expectation that it’s a utopian garden over here and that every one is always saintly to each other. At which point any amount of criticism or disagreement becomes ‘Well I thought this was the nice place guess I’ll take my ball and go home’

Tiny communities means I have the only two posts on writing prompts at the moment so that feels kinda cool.

Technically, pretty good.

The people are all overwhelming leftist, and that gets bothersome after a while. It almost feels like a cult here sometimes. I just want a place thats more neutral or at least more tolerant, and has enough people on it.
