When I read headlines like this I feel… tired. Just so… tired. Sigh.

Pretty much. Iowa governor Kim Reynolds has also essentially turned Iowa into a non-democratic state over the last several years. She has virtually absolute control. Everyone’s been hyper focused on DeSantis while super villains like her have been enacting insane policies and laws with little national coverage
Seriously, look up how she’s made every single committee and appointments under her direct control, among other things. There are literally no longer any checks and balances to her bullshit and her Republican constituents have applauded it.
That sucks.
The judge didn’t rule that I can’t call it a murder.
