If I were in jail/prison and this cop had anything to do with my trial, I’d be calling my lawyer.
if they ever find out about the cop, sure.
While Kriv retired in January just before he was charged criminally, he had faced nearly 100 misconduct complaints from citizens and fellow officers in his tenure on the force. ProPublica and the Chicago Tribune previously detailed Kriv’s long history of alleged misconduct as an officer and his current legal trouble
One hundred misconduct complaints, some even by fellow officers, but he was allowed to stay on the force and continue committing crimes. This is where the A in ACAB comes from.
Sure hope the cop is getting criminally charged. That’s insane
Doubt it, the Klan protect their own
The most shocking thing is that something is being done about it. If we could get more of that we would be golden.
One day, a city will learn that it’s way more affordable to fire shitty police than keep them.

The issue is that cops that don’t catch complaints are the cops that don’t arrest anyone. So eventually it’d just be really, really obvious how much of a black hole their budgets are
Jesus Christ, cops don’t stop crimes anyways. Something like 20% of all crimes ever get solved in the US. They’re totally ineffective.
They’re worse than ineffective. When they go on slow-down or strike crimes actually go down!
Absolutely despicable but not surprising…
Has he been promoted yet?
ACAB, plain and simple.
