Why do these exist? And I mean all those religious book reading applications collectively. Browsing through f-droid it feels like every third beginner’s project is a Bible-, Torah- or Koran-reading app.

      Your not wrong lol.

My personal reason was because I simply enjoy the historical aspect to it so I wanted to share it in a more accessible way

It’s kinda funny to see, I’m always surprised to see so many in the wild. My guess is just that it allows the developers to get familiar with the technology they’re using by making a relatively straightforward kind of app, harder than a counter, but easier than a full-on data wrangling beast

Lmao, probably not. Though publishing has its own learning curve too, so maybe they do it anyway for that reason, I don’t know

The short answer is they were indoctrinated from a very (too) young age to center their existence on it for no other tangible reason than that’s what happened to their parents.

Edit: what a shock, objective fact gives the indoctrinated a big mad. 🙄

This is a straw man and a false equivalence. Not indoctrinating one’s kids in a religion does not imply permitting one’s kids to be brainwashed by school or the media.

This was a good demonstration of the tendency for religious people to forego reason, thanks.

Go back to reddit. Im sure they miss your valuable input on religion bad. Certainly its not the same half baked drivel spouted by every college freshman.

Bigots lke you always use “objective fact” when they mean their small-minded ideas they focus their bitterness/resentment on. If you had any evidence, you wouldn’t need to refer to it in such a hyperbolic way.

          Bigots

          Snigger

          Pot calling the kettle black.

          If you had any evidence

ROFL didn’t it occur to you how ridiculous that would sound coming from someone defending religious people?
