When we buy or rent anything digital, we pay for a certain arrangement of the pixels in our screens (with or without sound) that please us.

    I would say we are buying 1s and 0s when we buy something that is digital.

    You’re not wrong, but the same reductionist concept could be applied to anything. All paintings are just oil and canvas. Sculptures are just lumps of clay or metal.

      Yes, but in a defined square it’s funny because it’s the same pixels and we want them to light up in a certain way to be pleased.
