OGAE Second Chance Contest 2023 Entries Revealed

The songs that will be competing in the OGAE Second Chance Contest 2023 have been revealed.

The twenty-three songs that are set to compete in the OGAE Second Chance Contest 2023 have been chosen. The OGAE Second Chance has been held every year since 1987 among the national branches of OGAE, the official Eurovision fan club. Songs that did not their country’s national selection are eligible to take part in the contest. Members of the fan clubs then vote for their favourite songs.

The competing songs are:

🇫🇮 Finland – KUUMAA – “Ylivoimainen”

🇮🇪 Ireland – CONNOLLY – “Midnight Summer Night”
🇮🇸 Iceland – Langi Seli og Skuggarnir – “OK”
🇮🇹 Italy – Lazza – “CENERE”

Voting is now open for all clubs that are participating as competitors or as guest juries. The results will be revealed later in the year.

    Hell yes😎 The best song that shouldn’t have gone to eurovision. I’ve been listening to some of their other stuff and it’s so good

    IMO there aren’t any massive surprises here, but that’s not a bad thing - this year had some really strong national finals and I reckon at least half of these songs are brilliant :D

    I’m going to predict the top 5, in no particular order: 🇸🇪 🇳🇴 🇮🇹 🇫🇮 🇧🇪

    My top 5: 🇫🇮 🇮🇹 🇭🇷 🇵🇱 🇷🇸 (honourable mentions to 🇷🇴 and 🇮🇸 for being really fun)

    I’m rooting for Ylivoimainen🙏 OGAE does tend to like female artists and Swedish entries, but they’re not completely predictable… I guess we’ll find out later in the year🤷‍♀️
