    Whether you believe in a god or gods has nothing to do with any of your other beliefs. The term atheism refers simply to the rejection of the claim that gods exist. Many atheists believe many different things outside of that core question. Most follow logic and scientific evidence to come to their conclusions but that is not necessarily a requirement.

        I can’t speak for mfanx2, but I believe in myself. I’m the one that I have to live with for the rest of my life.

        You seem to be under the impression that people have to believe in something. It’s just not true. Unfortunately, religions hammer this into people from an early age, so it’s difficult to break out of the mindset.

            LOL what? Where are you getting that? I never said I was a god or something.

            I simply recognize that I have to live with myself for the rest of my life, and that guides my actions.
