Tbf don’t think they are totally wrong about this one. China can and absolutely should do better especially with energy production but western companies who outsource their manufacturing there to cut costs and skirt regulations absolutely share the blame, and those are our responsibility to regulate.

China doesn’t have the best workers’ rights record, no.
Besides manufacturing there is also exports of garbage and old vehicles and similar things to developing countries to keep our numbers cleaner.
And China accepts this because it’s a poor nation.
It’s my understanding that they don’t anymore, I believe they are shipping it off to Africa now.
It’s a good point. I hate it when people are like,
Well yeah they don’t make anything domestically. All they are doing paying China to pollute for them. Like every other developed nation.
That isn’t anything special. They’ve done nothing but hide their pollution.
