I’d honestly like to see WOTC acknowledge that levels 10+ or maybe 15+ are not actually playable and refocus their design efforts on lower levels.

My vote would be to just use this community for that purpose until the community gets big enough to split out.

The chase scene where the druid constantly wildshaped was amazing. Also Themberchaud.

The druid changes are definitely interesting. Im excited to see how they turn out in playtesting.

You are right - Circle of the Sea. I agree that it feels way more specific, and it is mostly a fantasy that you can fulfil by Land and Moon already. I’m not sure that I would ever actually play this one unless I was in a particularly seafaring campaign. But overall I like that they are coming up with interesting alternative uses for wild shape. Wrath of the Sea seems great.

I will say that I ran a pirate game that featured a coast druid who absolutely would have taken this subclass. Most characters in that game were sea elves, water genasi, tritons, or otherwise seafarers. One was D’anne Bonny, a barbarian who would have loved the new weapon mastery rules.

I am more skeptical of the outright need for Oceans druid (since Land-Coast and Moon both already can lean heavily on an aquatic theme). But honestly, why not?

I’m very excited about Cunning Strike, but it feels like it becomes available way to late for a feature that is designed to be the core feature of a class. It starts at 5th with enhancements at 11th, 13th, and 14th. A core feature like that really needs to kick in sooner.

The rogue’s new cunning Strike feature sounds awesome!

I really hope the next edition gives much more clear rules, and more importantly examples, for travel and exploration.

I am very excited to get my hands on this Playtest. Weapon mastery was a (small) step in the right direction for martials last time, and I very much want to see it refined to allow for much more tactical play. Casters have a wide range of options they can use mid-battle. Martials should be able to do the same.
