There’s an argument to be made that Konate not getting a second was consistent. I wouldn’t, as booting the ball away isn’t as serious as a foul, but you could argue it.

Some thoughts on the second half since I couldn’t watch the first:

• Tsimikas coming off with no replacement was a very brave move from Klopp

• Konate was lucky not to get sent off

• TAA wasn’t really on it

• Nunez does not look like the same player as last year

• Elliott was good

• Salah, despite his 2 goals, was absolutely dire and anyone who has him as MOTM needs to get their head checked

• Diaz can dribble and that’s about it. If not for Keane he’d be getting a lot more shit

• Refs are still shit

Bad idea in the long term.
