He didn’t have any turnovers against a jets defense with 12 interceptions and 12 FF with 7 recoveries. He did exactly what he needed to do against a strong jets defense.

I don’t even care I hope we do good enough that we can let our defense rest against the Saints.
He’s not a punt returner no reason to even mention using him there. At this stage in his career I’d rather him see less violent special teams snaps so let’s not start that now. Let him return kicks all he wants he might actually take those for 6.
We ran the ball down their throats we don’t need Pitts in when we’re worried about blocking that’s been made very clear all year.
He’s really not staring down receivers like he used to though. He’s been getting to his second or third read even but generally runs after his 2nd isn’t there which wasn’t a bad thing. That throw to Bijan was not his first read and if it was he completely fooled the defense by looking the complete opposite way as he should have. They took the ball out of his hands because that’s literally what our team is built to do. If we have the lead at halftime and we’re receiving we’d better be running the ball heavy or we have an even bigger playcalling issue than any of us thought.
You also say they took it out of his hands at the end of the game as if he hasn’t led multiple game winning drives. Taking it out of his hands at the end of the game is the least of our concerns. Keep the clock moving and kick a field goal is all we needed to do.
Oh yes we lost our matches while taking our cap hits on the chin. Looks like it’s starting to catch up to yall though that defense of yours is about to give our entire fanbase hope for Ridder for all of one week.
Another thing we’re not talking about was how good that sliding sack he took was. To start the season Ridder is throwing the ball or trying to run with the ball loose. He sees the pressure runs up into the pocket and slides. We’re forced to punt the ball but he didn’t make a bad throw into coverage.
The decision making like minimizing sacks with throwaways, taking shorter sacks by not running outside of the play design, looking off safeties and linebackers is improving and nobody is really mentioning it. Thats the progression were looking for in him to be a game manager like we were asking for.
