I agree with all of this. We can’t stop AI, nor should we. The first answer is to tax rich people and their robots and get that money to working families. If we keep blocking AI over copyright concerns, we will start to fall behind in the global marketplace competing with companies who have no such reservation.

Ultimately, they will make AI pay to play and we will catch up to some degree, but the arrival of self-driving cars? That’s teamsters, which is a huge part of the workforce.

Burger flipping robots isn’t going to do it. UBI is the future and yes. That happens at the state and federal level.

Not using AI because it is “amoral” is no different than China refusing to use power tools to make jobs.
