I’m looking to get my first subscription of a machine learning model and I’ve been using POE for a while but I’m not sure if paying for it would be better than paying for a GPT subscription. I almost never use them to generate images, mostly for help with my business and some programming.

I also want my wife to be able to use the same account when I start paying for it.

I’m not sure what the benefits of each are and which would outweigh.

    At 2.9 watt-hours (Wh) per ChatGPT request, AI queries are estimated to require 10 times the electricity of traditional Google queries, which use about 0.3 Wh each.

    Take a moment to think about that. What is your carbon footprint? How much water are you using? Not whether one service is better than another, but whether it’s fair to everyone else on the planet for you to keep using this service.

      There have definitely been problems chatgpt has solved in one try that would’ve taken multiple Google searches and multiple page loads stemming from that
