Most of us don’t even hate Russia, just the authoritarian criminalistic regimes, and communism I guess, but I’m sure we would get over that like we did with China. Also a solid percentage of American Right wingers suddenly love Russia, for all of the wrong reasons.

Hate is just such a strong word when it comes to geopolitics, because one day your enemy could wind up your friend.

Although not that Tankies/Nazis are known for their thinking abilities.

I hate Russia. It’s always been crappy and always been a stain on Europe, and a brutal empire. It was that way under the Tsars, it was that way under the Bolshevists, and it is that way now as a fascist hellhole

Yeah, the Russian peolples can be fine but the socio-political entity that is Russia, well lets just say it requires a good old fashion balkanization.

Yes, absolutely. Russia must die so that Russians can prosper

Too much aristrocratic power, plus I feel like the UK could very easily fall to dictatorship in its current form. Dissolving the UK just seems like the easiest way to reduce potential damage.

The UK isn’t a dictatorship with subject peoples any more, so, no

Counterpoint, elements of the old aristocracy still hold way too much power and the entire damned thing needs to be reorganized at the very least.

My attitude to Russia and China are the same: nice place, shame about the government

For that matter there are lots of other countries that would fit that description even though the bad things their governments do are bad in different ways and to different degrees.
