    Sharp eyes! I didn’t notice it, but I think you’re right.

    I would say there were 2 scalling steps for the background+train, one nearest-neighbour and a second bilinear one… or maybe it was saved with a very loosy JPG quality.

      yeah i think that’s just crusty gif compression (i notice it’s an actual gif not a gifv)

      it does look nostalgic though with the crappy 256 colour dithering
