It’s like my cousin who had cancer as a toddler. My parents, my whole family actually, were always forgiving of his misbehaviours. They’d always say “he had a rough start, give him some slack”. If I or my cousins came complaining that he was hitting us or breaking our toys, they’d always say stuff like “Be nice to him, you know he’s not well.”.
Well, he sure isn’t doing well in jail now. He shot some family during a burglary and is now doing life.
