You’re asking me to prove that you can’t homicide somebody that doesn’t exist.

You made the claim. I’m asking you to cite your claim.

I’d ask you in earnest to provide a citation, but you’re not here for honest discussion

    Easy enough.

    https://thehill.com/homenews/house/593517-cori-bush-says-she-wont-stop-saying-defund-the-police-despite-pressure-from/amp/

Democrats are pushing to defund the police which has caused a large spike in crime.

Do you expect citations from people saying water is wet?

      Easy enough

“Majority of democrats pressure singular democrat over widely misunderstood phrase” equates to democrats celebrating murder? What a joke.

      • Pointing to a single democrat does not represent all democrats

      • The article itself states that she is in the minority position, even amongst democrats, further making her a bad representation of democrats on this issue

      • “Defund the police” is widely misunderstood as a phrase

      • Even if she literally meant “no police should exist” instead of the much more common meaning, that statement is not a celebration of crime or murder

So you’ve failed on multiple levels. Great job ignoring the rest of what I said though.

Defund the police" is widely misunderstood as a phrase

        From Google:

defund v prevent (a group or organization) from continuing to receive funds

Words have meaning. Using words to represent new meanings breaks down our ability to communicate and think.

If Democrats didn’t want to mislead people, they shouldn’t have started using this “phrase” (Sorry it’s a slogan not a phrase. Again, words have definitions).

I agree it is a terrible and misleading phrase with a very confused meaning. Which just adds to why it is a terrible quote to use to support winter’s claim.

I used the word as the democrats did. It’s led to a massive increase in crime, more criminals on the streets and less cops. We also have shortage of cops in large cities. Imagine that. Why would someone want to be a cop in a city where they don’t value your services?

The city I live in divided into red/blue areas. I live in a red area. We have quick police response. They deal with the issue and we don’t complain about it.

I had some homeless people by my house. Called the cops and they were hauled away in less than an hour. That’s what I want from my police force. Quick, professional responses to criminal activity.

            Crime is currently downtrending.

            This is beyond parody.

That isn’t parody. The police asked me to stop spraying them with a hose and instead they would be remove them. Fair enough.

Nothing cruel about it. Don’t trespass. It’s not that complicated. I get you hate the law but it’s why we have a polite society. So instead I call the police and they take them to jail.

I’d like to hear you say that after becoming homeless for a few years and sprayed with water in the winter.

                    Don’t trespass.

Pretty fucking hard to do when your very existence is considered trespassing.

Do you expect citations from people saying water is wet?

Water isn’t wet in science. So yes. I’d expect them to cite misinformation.

        https://www.sciencefocus.com/science/is-water-wet

Rest of what you said was babble.

Democrats support crime. Most criminals are democrats. Democrats have destroyed most police departments with their hostile action. Major cities can’t hire officers because of the democrats.

No cash bail? That’s the democrats.

Police work to reduce crime and it’s why I support funding the police and strong prison sentences.

Your first attempt at proving it failed spectacularly, so you’re just moving on to the next thing, which is rather disappointing.

It didn’t fail. It hit the mark. I can cite other things but you’ll continue to act in bad faith. You make things up then when asked to back up your claim. You hurl insults. When you are corrected, you hurl insults. So I’ll leave it at that.

It didn’t fail. It hit the mark.

Then perhaps you didn’t read what I said:

“Majority of democrats pressure singular democrat over widely misunderstood phrase” equates to democrats celebrating murder? What a joke.

              • Pointing to a single democrat does not represent all democrats

you’ll continue to act in bad faith.

I came in here with an actual argument, that democrats are trying to reduce deaths, and you immediately called me an edge lord. If anyone is acting in bad faith here it is you.

You hurl insults. When you are corrected, you hurl insults. So I’ll leave it at that.

I havent insulted you. To quote a non insult, “You’re an edgelord. It’s what you are doing. You didn’t question a thing. You went full edge lord.”

Don’t want me saying these things? Maybe you should behave yourself. Don’t insult me and I won’t insult you. It’s not that hard winter.
