Created for the M15 Core Set of Magic: The Gathering. This one was a lot of fun and gave me the chance to put to use some things I had been picking up watching the Face Off competition. As I was designing the face I imagined I was sculpting it and when painting the colors I was reminded of Laura’s beautiful and subtle makeups which helped me add some nice tonal changes across the surfaces.
