It’s pretty incredible how fortunate Tottenham have been so far this season, but I guess as the old adage goes, good things come to those who mate.

Yes. We were very fortunate that Palace avoided 4 yellow cards in the first half and didn’t have an obvious handball goal disallowed. Good point.

Own goal isn’t luck. Maddison put in a good ball in the box that was too fast for the defender to react properly. Richarison was ready behind the defender for the tap in.

i know it’s pretty much impossible, but it would be hilarious if spurs win it this year just after kane left

Ref saw the check clear from Pep at the 90th minute and tried his best to get Palace a point.

In all seriousness, horrible refereeing there. Good resilience from Spurs in what was a frustrating game for them. Johnson was fantastic.

Is there a single player in the league that can put sprint Van De Ven? Seriously he absolutely blows by everyone he’s gone against.

Just saying that Spurs have no chance of winning the league or even of being a contender for it, generally downplaying how good we’ve been and painting it as an aberration.

It’s true though, and I say that as a Spurs fan.

If we had some bench options for CB and maddison/Son then I might agree but right now we are an injury away from being unable to score or keep goals at bay.

You won’t challenge. Half of your fans are saying a title challenge should not be the expectation. Gary is annoying sometimes but he’s right about that. It’s 10 games in.

Vicario has turned out to be a gem

Between him, Maddison, Van der Ven, and Johnson, Spurs have had a great transfer window

If you forget Conte’s terrorism, Sarr and Bissouma are like new signings too

It’s the manager and the style of football.

Everyone is talking up the players and that’s fair; they’re doing it on the field but the difference is the manager.

I hate to say it, but so far I think Spurs have had the best transfer window. Maddison alone was an absurd bit of business, but they’ve just improved everywhere.
