    Vancouver, B.C. Canada Checking in, bathrooms are only required if you have indoor seating, so a lot of places didnt reinstall their tables post pandemic, and thus kept their washrooms closed

        Violation or not, any store you dont see people sitting down in, the washrooms are closed. The fact that so many stores are doing that instead of just not letting people use the washroom leads me to believe there is in fact a loophole. I live and until recently worked downtown, this loophole was explained to me while I was an employee at a grocery store that didnt have public washrooms, and if you pay attention to the restaurants that havent returned seating back, they no longer provide access to what used to be public washrooms
