Can you even define fascist, in such a way that doesnt implicate you or politicians you like?

Maybe you should read what I posted above.

The GOP is a fascist organization.

            Donald Trump is a fascist.

The right-wing media is fascist propaganda.

I’ve already written out why; I can see why you won’t engage with it though.

You can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make it drink.

And “nuh-uh” doesn’t refute what I said regardless of what Momo thinks.

Then define it. Give us your definition of fascism. And no, simply calling things fascist doesn’t not make them fascist.

Bonus points for not implicating yourself, or the politicians you like, and for keeping Nazi Germany and Fascist Italy fascist.

Then why the fuck did you ask?

Or are you saying that you don’t care that you’re fascists? Because that much is evident.

Amazing the teenagers they let on the internet.

Screaming a word at people doesn’t make them that particular thing.

Not everyone who disagrees with you is an extremist. Blindly hating opposing viewpoints is exactly what you’re supposed to be against.

      But hey, OMGFASCINAZIMAGALAGADINGDONG!!

Why don’t you just leave the Conservative community? You clearly don’t like it here and the name-calling that you revert to doesn’t change anything and certainly won’t change any minds, so I’m not sure what your purpose is, other than to anonymously call other other anonymous people bad names.

Whatever helps you sleep at night I guess. I’d hate to live a life where all I do is be mad at people on the internet who I don’t know.

Cool. Why are you so frustrated/focused on something you literally cannot change?

(Not being a dick): have you tried any other forms of therapeutic/mindfulness/relaxation/etc?

Go for a walk, ride a mountain bike, get a dog, do yoga, volunteer somewhere, build something, or get a job where you get to break stuff? Possibilities are endless, don’t limit yourself.

Trump is basically quoting Hitler, and most of you still support him. If that doesn’t make somebody a fascist then nothing will.

I think it was fairly evident that DJT is a polarizing individual that not every Republican/conservative liked. I’ll say it for the hundredth time, conservatives existed long before him, and will exist long after. To most people who consider themselves “conservative”, I’d say its fair to assume we want smaller government, transparent fair taxes across the board, gov accountability, a strong defensive military, and to be left alone if we aren’t doing anything wrong.

That’s what conservative means to me and most I’ve ever sat down and discussed over it. We aren’t marching down the streets waving flags and beating up minorities. We aren’t firebombing abortion clinics. Those are fringe groups just like the Left and they should be held accountable. Sadly, we know those who scream the loudest/burn down the most cities get the most press.

Trump is dominating the republican primary.

He is a fascist because of his Hitler-esc rhetoric. And that makes the majority of republicans fascist sympathizers/supporters. That will always be a bigger issue than whether or not conservatism can be defined by “small government” and so on.

How can you be comfortable being a part of a political party who’s main leader is basically quoting Hitler?

“We pledge to you that we will root out the communists, Marxists, fascists and the radical left thugs that live like vermin within the confines of our country that lie and steal and cheat on elections,” Trump said toward the end of his speech, repeating his false claims that the 2020 election was stolen. “They’ll do anything, whether legally or illegally, to destroy America and to destroy the American Dream.”

Trump went on further to state: “the threat from outside forces is far less sinister, dangerous and grave than the threat from within. Our threat is from within. Because if you have a capable, competent, smart, tough leader, Russia, China, North Korea, they’re not going to want to play with us.”

Who said I was a registered Republican? You made an assumption that is definitely wrong.

Also, you don’t want them to root out the fascists? So you’re just cherry picking arguments that fit your narrative?

Oh that’s right, everyone you don’t like is Hitler. Make a new argument. What did he ACTUALLY do that hurt you? Or are you hurt by words?

Who said I was a registered Republican?

You don’t need to be registered to be a supporter/participant.

Also, you don’t want them to root out the fascists?

I genuinely have no idea how you arrive at such a though from what I said.

Oh that’s right, everyone you don’t like is Hitler.

No, people who call their political opponents “vermin” in need of destruction are facist. If (effectively) quoting Hitler isn’t enough for somebody to be considered fascist, then there is nothing that could ever make somebody a fascist.

But this is a solid strawman, gotta give props for that. I said Trump is a fascist, not that he is Hitler.

What did he ACTUALLY do that hurt you?

Years of shitty, backwards policy that was invariable the wrong decision basically every time.

I already broke down some of the specifics in a separate thread:

                https://lemm.ee/comment/6507990

Or are you hurt by words?

Seems like you’re the one that’s hurt right now.

Sure, it’s just a coincidence that the GOP has the same enemies as the Nazis: sexual, ethnic, religious minorities & leftists.

It’s just coincidence that the previous GOP president was the perfect image of an authoritarian strongman who achieved power through a legal process and then tried to circumvent democracy after he was elected.

It’s just a coincidence that the same leader called Nazis “very fine people,” and has called for leftists to be exterminated (the first target of the Nazis).

It’s just a coincidence that the right-wing media serves up lies and hate directed at Jews by platforming anti-semites like Kanye West and Nick Fuentes, even going to eat dinner with DJT.

It’s just a coincidence that all of the right-wing media were all-in on the election lies. And yes, we know they’re lies, even the Fox internal emails admit as such.

It’s just a coincidence that Nazis from StormFront have endorsed Tucker Carlson (the one-time most popular right-wing propagandist) for spreading white nationalism talking points to the mainstream.

It’s just coincidence that the newly elected house speaker is a Christian Nationalist who thinks he should be able to impose his backwards and fundamentalist beliefs on the rest of us despite the plain wording of the first amendment.

It’s just a coincidence that the previous incarnation of fascism in this country was also a Christian Nationalist movement.

Yeah. Where would someone get the idea that y’all are fascists?

MomnoTimeToDie was impotently attempting to minimize all of the valid criticisms laid at the feet of modern Conservatism, but it did nothing to dissuade anyone of the truth of the matter.

It made Zombiepirate wonder why such a worthless comment was neccessary, but figured it was due to an inability to refute the damning evidence. MomnoTimeToDie couldn’t just admit that he was in a fascist party so he accused Zombiepirate of fabricating these verifiable facts.

            Truly, MomnoTimeToDie contained multitudes.
