That was a fucking great game.
Spurs in that first half were electric, the wing backs inverting like they’re #10s, wingers stretching them out. It’s crazy but it’s incredibly entertaining to watch. I’ve never seen Kulu more centrally, seemed to suit him from the outside looking in and it did.
Villa were class tho, thought they showed that winner’s mentality. They hung in there and just kept cool, gripping more and more control as the game went on. Such a balanced team from back to front, love that Kamara/Luiz partnership.
Funny thing is that Kulu has said since his Atalanta days that hes a 10 first and RW second. Could tell today that he knows his shit centrally and thats while not playing there for years. Would love to see it more in the NT if one of our many RW talents bloom
