    I only buy stuff for my sibling’s kids now. Buying christmas gifts for other adults is just kind of pointless unless you specifically find some sort of unique thing that you know they’ll like/need and wouldn’t have found on their own.

      My family does this thing where all the adults bring one gift bag under $40 and theres a game to it. All the gifts start out in the middle and you can either choose from there and unwrap it or steal from someone that has already unwrapped one. Each gift can only be stolen once. It can be pretty interesting though if it were me I might set the limit at like $60. I like to put together themed gifts rather than a single item and $40 is a tight budget these days for that kind of thing.
