        Hasn’t miles suffered enough? I felt him having a family to come home to somewhat made up for all the shit he went through

          Half the shit he goes through is being trapped in a prison for a couple of decades, the other half is Keiko’s making.

            O’Brien usually drinks black coffee jamaican blend, double strong, double sweet. I don’t think we ever saw him drink raktajino.

            They’d either bond over coffee or fight to the death over the last drop.

              He switched to raktajino a little while after he transferred to DS9, but you’re right— he liked his regular coffee for a long time

              There were passing mentions of it in later seasons of deep space nine

                One of the early hints that we weren’t seeing the real O’Brien in “Whispers” DS9 s2e14, was that he ordered a Jamaican blend, rather than raktajino. By then, he’d already switched over.
