The rail union contract expires at the end of this year meaning the rail union workers can strike again sometime in 2025. Whoever wins the 2024 general election and becomes president will immediately have to deal with that possibility. If Biden is serious about how Trump is the biggest threat we face then promising to veto any attempts to force another contract onto the rail unions is a bargain.
Your move Joe. Are you willing to compromise with leftists or do you want to go down in history as the second establishment Democrat who lost to Donald Trump?
Your goal is promoting voter apathy.
Mine is to oppose that, I’ve been very open about it.
I’ve not encouraged anyone not to vote. I myself will be voting 3rd party.
That’s how we got Trump in 2016…
no, we got trump because people voted for him
*And people trying to go third party splitting the Dem votes
if no one voted for Trump, it wouldnt matter how many people voted for a so-called third party
Sounds like there’s a problem with the Democratic primaries producing candidates who don’t win in the general election.
I’m happy to discuss that topic if you like. But I was addressing an accusation that I was promoting voter apathy. If you agree I am not promoting voter apathy I’m happy to discuss why I’m voting 3rd party.
You are promoting voter apathy and you’re also getting your commenters confused.
You don’t understand how comment threads work.
It’s easy.
You ask people to stop engaging if they disagree with you.
Yes.
like a boss
Voting third party is the same as not voting.
it’s literally a subset of voting.
It’s voting, but it like voting for Bernie Sanders.
Totally pointless.
this sounds like a voter suppression tactic. it’s undemocratic to discourage people from voting.
How often do you get that tired old username checks out type comment?
I like me
I like you too!
You’re literally calling it “voting”.
It cancels out the voting thing when you add third party.
wrong
How am I wrong?
votes are counted no matter the party.
What do you mean “it cancels out”?
What specifically do you mean by “it cancels out”? What happens?
You vote for a person who doesn’t have a chance to win.
When was the last time a third party president won?
