I don’t really understand the defense of the Russian Federation by contemporary communists. The Russian Federation is about as communist as the US is; if anything, it’s more fascist than the US is. Is it just a Tankie tradition to like Russia at this point?
They are probably infiltrated by the borfarms too. They are as soft as a clay to form them in the needed way. I don’t know about Lemmy, but Reddit has a lot of communitites and users unironically inviting everyone to flee from woke democracies.

Russia is essentially an oil company with the added “benefit” of owning an army to protect their business interests.
