I really enjoyed the last joker, there isn’t a single chance I’ll watch this.

I thought that at first as well. However, and I hope this is the case, it’s really interesting to think about how dark a Joker musical could actually get.

Let’s just say I am very intrigued about where it could go. Taking a character like the Joker, sticking him in a musical while possibly making a slight crack in the fourth wall could create something super interesting.

Him being slightly aware that he is just a musical character would probably give his character a ton of validation about his unique interpretation of life. That is a scary thought, actually.

Unfortunately I have to agree. I loved the first one but musicals are so cringe… I just can’t stand them.

    And I can’t wait!

I think this has real potential to be an incredible masterpiece that will influence cinema for generations. Or it’s going to be campy as hell and fun. Either way, I can’t wait!

    Jukebox musicals suck.

If it was a completely original musical detailing joker’s fall into lunacy, it would be fun and be a perfect dark comedy.

Instead it’s going to get whatever popular songs strung together that barely resonate with any of the themes.

On second though, kinda weird to have such a big production be a jukebox musical, and I’d rather have original songs, but what the hell, I’ll still watch it.
