Don’t underestimate fascists. Bigotry is pretty ignorant, but these people do what they do for a reason. Dog whistles allow them to find each other, but claim plausible deniability about their affiliation.
Like every single person you encounter who insists on writing “friends” as “frens” will tell you that they are just being cutesy, but everyone in-the-know understands that it means “Far Right EthnoNationalist”.
