A Barn Owl near the Suffolk coast in the UK. It’s the first time l’ve photographed one with prey and it was out and about for about two and a half hours and caught about 8 voles taking them back to its nest somewhere on the other side of the field.
Carrying the mouse in one foot as well how cool and nonchalant is that yeah I get one most afternoons yeah no big deal
He is definitely the boss of that field!
This series should be published in a wildlife magazine.
It does make me curious what some of these people do with all these photos. I imagine it takes much time and expense getting to all these animals, so something has to be paying for it.
I’m glad they don’t charge me for it at least! 😁
Maybe I’ll have to do a deep dive into some of my regular photo providers and see if any of them have businesses or associated projects.
